Visual Studio 2010 Keyboard Shortcut

Some very useful keyboard shortcut in Visual Studio 2010.

Ctrl + Break (Interrupt build)

If you ever regretted hit that F5 button, you probably will want to know that you can interrupt/cancel the build process by pressing Ctrl + Break.

Ctrl + ‘-‘ (Go back)

Ctrl + ‘-‘ command lets you navigate to previously viewed code. Somewhat like the back button on your internet browser. Very useful.

Ctrl + Shift + ‘-‘ (Go forward)

The opposite of above. Ctrl + Shift + ‘-‘ command lets you navigate to next viewed code. Somewhat like the forward button on your internet browser. Very useful.

Ctrl + ‘,’ (Navigate to)

Similar to ‘Find all references’ command. Ctrl + ‘,’ command lets you quickly navigate between code without having to lift your fingers off the keyboard.

Cheers – Sy
